Everton or Burnley Drop???
Who do you want to get relegated ?

I think Everton… as it’s their time…

Need to suffer the Championship…cleanse their souls and fight their way back…

It’s their turn…

I thought arsenal and spurs had paid back the loans…. I’m sure arsenal borrowed from the markets last summer to pay it back and spend on players

‘Everton have basically lied saying covid cost them £170m whilst other PL clubs said £30m/£40m’

But that’s not true is it? For a start Tottenham and Arsenal borrowed £175m and £120m respectively from the Government funded BoE emergency covid loans to cover their covid losses. So have they both lied as well? (Possibly) and that’s before you get into the legitimacy of PL clubs being allowed to borrow government money at a very low interest rate

''Head says I hope Leeds go down so we can get Phillips, Raphinha and Struijk of them''

Hang on, I've read on here we're not spending any money? I prefer shitty Burnley to go, but you might have a point, although a few clubs will want Phillips and isn't Rapinha lined up for Barca.

Similar with Forest, we may get Worrall if they stay down, as Moyes apparently likes him, if they come up it ain't happening.

From the Mail:

The Premier League are facing the extraordinary prospect of being sued for £200million by Leeds or Burnley for failing to uphold their own financial rules.

The two relegation-threatened clubs wrote to the Premier League last week warning that they reserve the right to take legal action due to their failure to take any action against Everton for the club’s extravagant spending, which has led to them posting losses of £371.8m over the last three years.

Sportsmail revealed last month that Everton’s relegation rivals were preparing to take legal action due to what they regard as a flagrant breach of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, which limit clubs to losses of £105m over three years, and with the final league positions to be determined this weekend after Frank Lampard’s side ensured their survival with a stunning 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Thursday night they have sprung into action.

I want Leeds to go down purely because it increases our chances of signing Phillips

A proper football club has a decent following who are known to be present at games and a club you look forward to having a game with.....Fulham are a good day out around the area and it's a nicely situated ground.....playing them is in the way before you get back down the pub on the Thames there's no niggle and certainly no backlash from their support......apart from Watford it's about the best first away game to take your kids to........proper club ffs......

Craven Cottage is a great old ground which presumably will finally have that new stand running down the river side of the pitch open next season.
Seem to have been building that forever.
Hopefully we get an early or late season trip there and a sunny day.

The 'neutral' area is a good idea if that whole stand is offered to away teams. If they only want the standard away section it could be sold separately.

Hopefully its Forest that joins them and Bournemouth.

Fulham are a London club with an atmospheric old ground, great history and traditions who play football the right way. Proper club.

Burnley are based in a bleak northern shithole, dilapidated old ground and long ball merchants to boot. An embarrassment to claret and blue. Not a proper club.

Fulham have an old style ground that is it….they also have a very wanky ‘neutral’ area….proper club they are not…..

I suppose so.

But from a WHU point of view, Fulham is a London derby.

Fulham are a proper club, to be fair. Small fan base yes, but old historic ground.

Re: Everton or Burnley Drop???
If Burnley go down with Watford & Norwich and IF Forest come up with Fulham & Bournemouth then ONE proper club would have been added……wow……

Want Burnley to go.

Imagine Burnley go down and Forest come up. The PL would have some proper clubs in it next season.

Everton’s squad on paper is much better than when they are.

Pitch invasion for staying up was ridiculous.

Lampard standing on one of the concourses lapping it up.
